YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) — Anthony Richmond was awakened this morning by two guys trying to kick down his front door. You can watch as the home invasion is recorded on his doorbell surveillance camera.
Both suspects look young. One is wearing a bandanna and the other does not have his face covered. If you know who they are contact Ypsilanti Police.
Anthony tells 7 Action News he heard boom, boom, boom and adds, “keep in mind both have guns. It didn’t even cross my mind that I might get shot.”
He shoves them out the door and then one points his gun at the door.
“Like he was going to shoot through the door. By that time I bend down get close to the ground,” Richmond said.
Ypsilanti Police won’t tell us if they’ve had similar home invasions. They won’t say if they’ve gotten any tips on who these guys might be. They won’t say if they’ve made any arrests.
Richmond posted it on his Facebook page and has gotten tips and turned them over to police. He could be solving his own crime!
