PLYMOUTH, Mich. (WXYZ) — A controversy is developing over the removal of the pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Plymouth.
In a news release, the Archdiocese of Detroit says Father Michael Suhy was removed because he was overwhelmed with running the large parish, which includes a school.
However, in a statement, Father Suhy says he was removed after informing the Archdiocese that an employee had been accused of sexually harassing and grooming the son of parishoners.
