The courts will monitor the online activity of a former reality TV show contestant.

Michael Skupin refused to address our questions outside the courthouse in Clarkston. The two-time Survivor contestant is charged with six counts of possessing child pornography.

Investigators say they found illicit material on his laptop during an investigation for his role, running an alleged Ponzi scheme.

For that he is also charged with five counts of larceny and one count of racketeering. Skupin was released after posting bail on a $350,000 bond.

In court today, the prosecutor asked to keep Skupin off the internet as part of his release.

Defense argued he needs the internet to research for his job.

Skupin is now only allowed to use the internet for work research and must submit logs of his online time to the court.

He also wears a GPS tether as part of his release and is only allowed to see his seven children during supervised visits.

This case sparked a separate investigation by Child Protective Services. His next court date is April 8.
