WATERFORD TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — Marqus Fitzgerald Young was charged Wednesday in connection to a strong-arm robbery and carjacking of an 81-year-old woman in Waterford Township on June 14.

Young is charged with unarmed robbery, larceny and unlawful driving away in a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $1 million cash surety.

On June 14, Young allegedly stole a purse and a car from the woman in the parking lot of Tenuta's Food Lane, 3515 Sashabaw Road.
