(WXYZ) — In tonight's 7 UpFront report we're examining the current status of Michigan's battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joining us to talk about it is the Director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Elizabeth Hertel.

"We are not near the peak yet. We will continue to go up. Our modeling looks like maybe two or three weeks here," Hertel says. "I think people need to be prepared to see our case rates increase significantly over the next ten days."
