Video of possible suspect released in Troy home invasion where man broke in and touched woman's leg

TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — As they continue to investigate, Troy police have released new information about a Troy home invasion where a man broke in and touched the leg of a sleeping woman, before running off.

The incident happened in the 700 block of Amberwood at around 2:00 a.m. on August 19.

However, police say they have now also determined that the man broke into the home a total of two times that night, with the first coming at around 12:40 a.m. Officers say the man was not detected during the first break in.

Police say surveillance video shows the man walking around the home at around 12:42 a.m. He is described as being between 18 and 25-years-old. His race is not known. He is described as having a thin build, possibly wearing glassws and a white shirt. He is believed to have enter the house through a basement door.

Police have also released two additional videos of a car that may be connected to the case.

Police say the suspect ran off around the woman screamed. Nothing is believed to have been taken from the house.
