2020 election: How to check if you're registered to vote in Michigan

(WXYZ) — The 2020 election season is upon us, and the Michigan primary is scheduled for Aug. 4 ahead of the general election on Nov. 3.

People can register to vote in Michigan in any manner, including online, up until July 20, 2020, for the August primary.

After July 20, you can register in-person with your local clerk from July 21 through 8 p.m. on election day on Aug. 4.

The same goes for the November general election. You can register in any form, including online, through Oct. 19, 2020. Then, you can register in-person from Oct. 20 through 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 (election day) at your local clerk's office.
