(WXYZ) — A 95-year-old World War II veteran from Farmington Hills was featured as part of the Democratic National convention Thursday night, saying he will not vote for President Donald Trump this election despite being a longtime Republican.

In fact, Edward Good has been a member of the GOP since the 1960s and voted for President Trump back in 2016 but has been unsatisfied with the president's actions.

"I think Trump has been the worst president we've ever had and I'll be glad to see him go," said Good. "I think Joe Biden will be a great leader for the United States."

Good fought in the Korean War and parachuted into combat in Germany.

"Like me, on the day of my jump into Germany, I think Joe Biden cares about doing his proper duty for the United States. And if he is elected, that's what he will do," Good said.

The 95-year-old vet is also a member of the National Rifle Association.
