Problems at the polls on Election Day? Report them here

(WXYZ) — Election Day is Tuesday, and people across metro Detroit will be hitting the polls to vote for their favorite candidates.

If you have any problems at the polls, or are experiencing longer than average wait times, we want to hear about them.

Be sure to include what city and precinct you are voting in, and what time the issue occurred.

The Justice Department is also taking complaints on possible violations of voting rights laws from voters across the country. You can contact Civil Rights Division personnel by filling out a complaint form on their website: https://civilrights.justice.gov/ or by calling toll-free: 800-253-3931. Any complaints regarding possible violations to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) can be submitted by calling the toll-free ADA information line at 800-514-0301 or 800-514-0383, or you can submit a complaint through the department’s ADA website: https://www.ada.gov/.
