MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 56-year-old Harrison Township woman is facing a felony count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon after an incident where her wheelchair bound daughter ended up covered in urine.

The woman, who has been identified as Angela Lenora Gay, has also been charged with 3 misdemeanor counts of Domestic Violence.

Prosecutors say police were called to the scene last week for a disturbance involving a knife. A woman reportedly told officers that during an argument, her mother attempted to stab her with a pencil and then bit her hand.

The woman also told police she found her wheelchair-bound sister covered in urine and her mother standing over her with a knife.

The sister then reportedly told officers her mother took a full container of urine from their mentally handicapped uncle and threw it on her, calling her a “crippled b**ch," prosecutors say.

She then said her mother slid a knife against the back of her neck, causing a small cut that was visible.

Prosecutors say the granddaughter also told police she was stabbed with a pencil and scratched.

Gay was arraigned on all 4 charges Monday afternoon in Clinton Township. She was released on personal bond and ordered to have no contact with her daughters or granddaughter.

She is due back in court on February 26.
