Sumpter Township man sentenced to life in prison in murder of 4-year-old girl

A Sumpter Township man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the death of a 4-year-old girl. 

On New Year's Day, 4-year-old Gabby Barrett was found hanging onto dear life at her Rawsonville Woods mobile home. 

She was pronounced dead shortly after arriving to a hospital, her death ultimately ruled a homicide with evidence of multiple traumatic injuries, including burns all over her extremities.

Gabby's mother, Candice Diaz, and her boyfriend, Brad Fields, were arrested and charged with murder, torture and child abuse.

Fields was found guilty on all charges.
