Fasten your seatbelts for a very funny “flight” at The Farmington Players Barn, as a guy with three fiancées scrambles to try and keep them apart. The hit comedy "Boeing Boeing,'  opened the Barn's new season last week, and week two begins tonight.  Tickets are available at www.farmingtonplayers.org  and at the box office 248-553-2955.

Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti (Translated by Beverly Cross and Revised by Francis Evans),  is a hilarious comedy that won the 2008 Tony Award for “Best Revival of a Play.”  The show runs through October 10th.  Tickets are available at farmingtonplayers.org an at the box office (248) 553-2955.

It’s the 1960’s, and swinging bachelor Bernard (Kenneth Overwater of Dearborn) couldn’t be happier: a flat in Paris and three gorgeous “stewardesses” all engaged to him without knowing about each other.  But Bernard’s perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning.  Soon, all three “stewardesses” are in town simultaneously, timid Robert (Gary Weinstein of Farmington Hills) forgets which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms. A riotous farce that recently enjoyed hit revivals in London and New York.

Anne Craft of Wayne is thrilled to be directing her first show at the Barn. “I wanted my first show to be creative and smart and entertaining. The Boeing Boeing script is just that,” says Craft.  “I laughed out loud the first time I read it. I immediately had a picture in my head of what I wanted this show to be.”  Craft is quick to point out Boeing Boeing is loaded with humor and funny dialogue that she calls, “fast-paced banter that keeps the audience engaged.”
