Hi-lo Operator

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift to transport a variety of parts and materials from one department to another, or from one work station to another. Load and Unload trucks as needed.
  • Ensure that loads are stacked properly for safe transportation, pick up load – holding load as closely to the ground as conditions permit – and position load safely and carefully at designated drop-off point.
  • Check oil level, battery, and make other routine checks of vehicle daily. Change tanks of propane gas as required. Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including pulling and stocking parts, stock control, preparation for new work, dumping scrap, transporting dies, loading coils, removing unnecessary items from floor, etc.
  • Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hook tow trucks to trailer hitch and transport load to designated area.
  • Wear all personal protective equipment as required.
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work process, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in driving hi-lo in a warehouse environment and proof of past hi-lo certification
  • Steady work history
  • Perfect Attendance and working overtime is required (up to 10 hours a week)
  • This position requires previous employment verification, references and successful completion of a drug screen and background check.

Re-pack Clerk (Entry-Level)

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Detail oriented and reliable
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Reading and legible writing skills are required as well as good math skills
  • Manufacturing or Quality Assurance experience a plus but not required
  • Have a positive attitude, takes direction, works well and is respectful.
  • Able to stand for 8 hour shift,  repeated bending and possible lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Warehouse environment (hot and cold temperatures)
  • Review and understand product specifications and work instructions for assignment.
  • Examine manufactured parts, primarily automotive, to ensure the parts meet all standards specified in the work instructions.
  • Perform visual inspections, mechanical and functional verification of parts could also be required to ensure compliance to set specification and quality standards.
  • Collect and record accurate data regarding reviewed parts and defects. Tag and isolate defective material.
  • Communicate sort/inspection results to your supervisor in legible written format.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience inspecting (visual) parts is preferred, not required
  • Steady work history. perfect attendance and working overtime is required (up to 10 hours a week)

  • Day shifts available (must be able to work overtime)
