Could B vitamins cause more lucid dreaming?

Is there a way to supercharge our dreams?

One researcher living in Australia seems to think so.

A psychology student at the University of Adelaide, Denholm Aspy, is studying different aspects of dreaming for his PhD project.

His goal is to uncover how people can have more control over their dreams, according to the university. 

Aspy says taking vitamin B6 may make dreams more vivid, and other B vitamins may help people remember their dreams or have more lucid ones.

A lucid dream is a dream where people know they are dreaming.

In a new study, Aspy will monitor participants over a 10-day period. They will be given capsules that either contain vitamin B6, other B vitamins or a placebo.

Each morning, participants will record whether their style of dreams were impacted.
