WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Michigan State Police say a missing 16-year-old Michigan girl who was believed to be in danger has been found in Iowa.
According to police, Joy Dene Martin was last seen in Saugatuck, Mich., which is south of Holland on Lake Michigan.
It is believed she voluntarily left home after talking to someone on the KIK messaging app and may have left the state on a Greyhound bus.
She is described as a white female, 5-feet-6 weighing 180 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes and a diamond stud nose piercing.
Police have not commented in more detail on where or when she was found.
