Beginning Monday, February 27, the Detroit Transportation Corporation will close the Detroit People Mover's Grand Circus Park station as part of a second phase of renovations. The closure is scheduled through April 3, 2017.

People Mover trains will bypass Grand Circus Park station. Patrons traveling within the west/Foxtown portion of the Central Business District have the option of using the two nearest People Mover stations - Times Square or Broadway - during construction. Times Square is closest to the Rosa Parks Transit Center. Broadway Station is closest to the Fox Theatre, Comerica Park and Ford Field, and also is steps away from the Detroit Opera House. Elevator and escalator accessibility is available at both stations.

Renovations to take place for approximately five weeks

The Detroit People Mover was constructed in 1987 as part of a planned, regional transportation system.  Fare is 75 cents per ride.
