In Detroit, hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil for Kenneth Cutts, the teen shot and killed in Warren this week.

His friends and family remembered the teen whose life was taken too soon.

Kiara Cutts says life will never be the same without her baby brother.

Kiara, along with several hundred others, held a candlelight vigil in the east side Detroit neighborhood he grew up in - including his childhood best friend Jermaine Hall.

Hall was supposed to visit his best friend this weekend, to visit Cutts new home in Warren.

But after being shot in the neck Monday night, he died a few hours later. For Hall it’s a loss that’s hard to put into words.

Reverend Audry L. Turner says his sermon wasn’t easy - being that it was own family mourning this tragic loss.

Her message tonight - don’t seek revenge, rather seek God.

As for Kenneth’s sister - the loss almost doesn’t seem real.

Two men have been arrested in connection to Cutts’ murder. If convicted they face life behind bars.
