A vigil is being held Thursday night in honor of the Troy woman who was found dead inside a Hazel Park home on Wednesday.

Jessica White, 21, went missing on April 23 at a home in Hazel Park. She was found strangled to death inside the attic and wrapped up in something.

The vigil will begin at 7 p.m. at Robinwood Park in Troy. That's located on Robinwood St., which is off Rochester Rd. between Maple and Big Beaver roads.

A vigil will also take place at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Hazel Park Viking Ice Arena on Woodward Heights. They will then walk from the ice arena to the location where White was found.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Jordan McClanahan for the murder. He was charged with first degree murder desecration of the body on Thursday. He was arraigned on those charges in Hazel Park District Court.
