Gusty winds knocked out two large trees in Dearborn.

It happened on Linden Street, Wednesday afternoon. The two trees lined the street near the sidewalk and both fell toward homes, but didn’t do any serious structural damage.

The trees are both very large and pulled up a lot of ground too.

"I didn’t think the wind was going to blow that tree down, it's a big tree,” said resident, Justin Mathews.

The wind blew the tree right into Mathews bedroom window, while he was in school, breaking glass.

His older sister was the only one home at the time.

"My older sister facetimed me and told me the tree had fallen into my window and she thought it was funny,” said Mathews.

Mathews said his sister thought it was funny after the fact, but she was scared.

"She said she felt the house shake… She came out and bam, there it was this big giant tree,” said Rico Reaser, his fiance is the mother of Mathews and his sister and also lives in the home.

A repairman is coming out to fix the windows on Thursday.  The family is grateful this wasn’t worse.

"The house wasn't hurt, the kids were find, no one was to do a car insurance claim,” said Reaser.
