Neighborhood crusaders are taking on illegal dumpers who have been using their community as a trash can.  Fed up, they are standing up together.

Last week, they collected wood decking that had been dumped throughout the area of Patton Street, and returned it the house where it came from.

Detroit police issued the contractor a ticket for illegal dumping.  But, for 7 Action News reporter Ronnie Dahl, that's where the story begins!

You can report illegal scrapping, illegal dumping or graffiti by calling the Detroit Police tip line, 313-235-4359 or by emailing scrapgrafdump@detroitmi.gov.

Jonathan Pommerville has gained a following on social media through his YouTube channel, Fochnut.  He shames people doing dirty deeds in his neighborhood.
