Police search for liquor store break-in suspect

The Sterling Heights Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who was caught on surveillance breaking into the Liquor Book Party Store on Mound Road.

The incident took place on January 22 at approximately 4:25 in the morning.

The suspect used a hammer to smash a window at the front of the store. Once inside, he stole cartons of cigarettes and alcohol.

He is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, brown hair, mustache and a heavy build. He was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a brown corduroy collar, blue jeans and brown boots.
