Three people, including twin boys, were killed overnight in a house fire on Detroit's northwest side, according to fire crews.

Two 3-year-old boys and their 46-year-old grandmother died at the home in the 18900 block of Lahser near 7 Mile.

The twins names are JaCion and JaSean Ford. Their grandmother was Michelle Ford.

Crews say 12 people were inside of the home at the time and eight managed to get out.

A fourth victim, 4-year-old Semaj Ford, who is a cousin of the twin boys, was taken to Children's Hospital with second and third degree burns and he is currently in critical condition.

Fire crews say they believe fire started in the kitchen around 12:45 a.m. It appears to be accidental and the smoke alarms were reportedly working in the home.

Fire crews say the entire first floor of the house was on fire when they arrived. The victims appeared to be on the second floor of the home.
