PGA champion Jordan Spieth is racking up wins on the PGA tour, but before that, he was a two-time U.S. junior champion.
80 local players from Michigan, Ohio, New York and Canada each had an opportunity to follow in Spieth's footsteps at Fieldstone Golf Club on Monday.
Three players won exemptions to the national tournament, and while the rest may be a bit disappointed their pro dreams are on hold, the experience in playing in such a worthy tournament along side their friends and competitors are memories they won't soon forget.
