More record-cold temperatures tonight for metro Detroit

WXYZ — Today will likely be one of only six other days to not reach 0° in the Detroit area since records began 145 years ago. Then, tonight gets very, very cold.

Most of southeast Michigan will see temperatures drop to around -15° by Thursday morning, with wind chills continuing to hover around -30°.
It has only dropped below -15° in Detroit four times in the last 100 years; Once in 1994, 1984, 1976, and 1934.
