The statewide average daily gas price has decreased by 13 cents, according to the latest report from AAA Michigan.
Michigan's current daily statewide average is about $2.90 per gallon, about 13 cents less than last week's average and about 53 cents more than this time last year.
Metro Detroit's average daily gas price decreased by 8 cents.
Michigan is currently ranked 21st in the nation for most expensive daily gas price, and is ranked second for the biggest change in average daily gas price compared to last week.
