AAA Michigan reports that the statewide average daily gas price has decreased by 11 cents compared to last week.
Michigan's current daily statewide average is about $2.89.
Metro Detroit's average price has also decreased to $2.94 per gallon, about six cents less than last week's average.
The lowest average price can be found in the Grand Rapids/Muskegon/Holland area where it's about $2.80 per gallon. The highest price is in the Ann Arbor area at about $2.97 per gallon.
