The Detroit Public Schools Community District is dismissing students three hours early due to anticipated high temperatures in the afternoon.
According to the district, all schools will be part of the early dismissal.
If schools have scheduled field trips, they will be told to reschedule to an alternative date and notify the transportation provider.
DPSCD dismissed 3 hours early on Tuesday as well.
Temperatures are expected to climb to the mid 80s today.
