The Detroit Public Schools Community District is dismissing students three hours early once again due to anticipated high temperatures in the afternoon.
According to the district, all schools will be part of the early dismissal. This is the third straight day students will be dismissed early.
If schools have scheduled field trips, they will be told to reschedule to an alternative date and notify the transportation provider.
Temperatures are expected to climb to around 90 degrees today.
