The Redford Police Department is looking for a man who walked into a business and stole three packages, two of those packages carrying guns and one carrying magazines.

“These are guns that are out on the street in my name, illegally,” Todd Buehler said.

Buehler is licensed to sell guns and does so out of a business office. Last Thursday, a shipment came to his office containing a 9 Millimeter AR Pistol and an AK-47.

Buehler says the packages came to his office around 1 p.m. and a secretary signed for the guns because he was out of the office. When he got back to the office, the guns were gone. Police say the secretary for the building said she didn’t know what was inside of the packages.

“My heart sunk," Buehler said. "I was like, my God, what do we do now?”

Buehler says he notified the ATF and called the Redford Police Department who are now investigating.

For now, Buehler has stopped any incoming shipments of guns. He says he’s out $1,200, which is something of little concern in the big picture.

“The money, I’ll suck that up... we will deal with it, you know," Buehler said. "But having this stuff in my name and who knows who has it, that’s unacceptable for me."

If you have any information, call the Redford Police Department at 313-387-2500 and ask for Detective Bailey.
