(WXYZ) — Thursday, Jan. 16, marks the one-year anniversary of the meteor that lit up the skies over metro Detroit.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the meteor happened shortly after 8 p.m. that night and caused a magnitude 2.0 earthquake near New Haven in Macomb County.
The meteor was visible in six states and Canada.
