Victims of Dr. Larry Nassar will speak in the California State Capitol on Monday as part of California State Senator Jerry Hill's bill, The Patients' Right to Know Act of 2018.
The bill would require physicians and surgeons place on probation in all misconduct cases to notify patients and would also extend the proposed requirement for medical doctors, to osteopaths, doctors of naturopathic medicine, chiropractors and acupuncturists.
Joining Hill will be former members of the U.S. Gymnastics team, including Jordyn Wieber, and other victims.
They plan to urge the California State Legislature and medical board to support the bill.
