MILWAUKEE (WXYZ) -- Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin will not play in the team's Eastern Conference first round series opener against the Milwaukee Bucks, head coach Dwane Casey told reporters Sunday night.
Griffin had been listed as day-to-day with lingering left knee soreness.
Griffin played 18 minutes in Detroit's 100-93 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on April 9 before sitting out the regular season finale at New York on April 10.
