DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Lions have been one of the teams named as a possible landing spot for Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown, but one current wide receiver thinks the team doesn't need him.

Kenny Golladay had a breakout season in his second year for the Lions, and he told 97.1 The Ticket's Karsch and Anderson show that the team is pretty good with what they already have.

"To be honest, I feel like the Lions are good where we're at," Golladay said. "No offense to Antonio Brown, he's gonna go down as one of the greats, an amazing player.

"But we me, T.J. Jones, Brandon Powell, Chris Lacy, Bruce Ellington - I mean the list just goes on. All those guys have made plays this year. I have trust in those guys and I know the organization does as well," he continued.

Golladay caught 70 passes last year for 1,063 yards and five touchdowns, improving greatly from his rookie season.

A sports-betting website says the Lions have the second-best odds to land the star WR in a trade, behind the Atlanta Falcons and tied with the New York Jets.
