(WXYZ) — The Detroit Tigers are moving the popular TigerFest to the summer.
The team says the move is in response to fan feedback and will all them to leverage "the gorgeous summer weather of Detroit and opening the ballpark to an entire new range of activities and all-access experiences for fans and families."
“We’re very excited to bring new and fresh experiences to fans as we transition TigerFest from a winter to summer event,” said Ellen Zeringue, Detroit Tigers Vice President of Marketing, in a news release. “By moving TigerFest to the summer, fans will have brand new experiences that include access to the field, more seasonable weather and interactive games and activities that we simply can’t provide in January.”
