They opened Ford Field to season ticket-holders, and opened up three microphones for fans to ask their top brass questions about the Lions.
One woman asked about Kareem Hunt, the running back the Browns signed just hours before the event.
"We evaluate every player on the field and off the field, and in this case, we talked about it internally and it was just a player we didn't feel comfortable with the Lions for numerous issues," Bob Quinn said.
The Lions general manager sat on-stage with Matt Patricia and Rod Wood.
"I stand by that. That's my word. I want good players and I want good people in this organization."
