Detroit Tigers Manager Ron Gardenhire announced his coaching staff for the 2018 season featuring several names known to Tigers fans.

Gardenhire, who was introduced as manager on Oct. 20, will bring back a couple of coaches from previous seasons, as well as some new coaches and a former player.
Rick Anderson, 50, will serve as the bullpen coach. He most recently served as the pitching coach for the Minnesota Twins from 2002-2014, which Gardenhire also managed.
Chris Boslo, 54, will be the pitching coach and had spent the last six seasons as the pitching coach for the Chicago Cubs, helping them win the 2016 World Series.
Dave Clark will remain the third base coach for the team. it's his fifth season down the third base line for the Tigers.
Former Tigers infielder Ramon Santiago will serve as the team's firs base coach. He spent 13 years with the Tigers and last played in 2014 with the Cincinatti Reds.
Gardenhire is also retaining Lloyd McClendon as the team's hitting coach, a role which he served last season. He has also previously managed the Seattle Mariners, Toledo Mud Hens and Pittsburgh Pirates.
He also announced that Phil Clark will be the assistant hitting coach, Steve Liddle will be the bench coach and Joe Vavra will be the quality control coach.
