After a mild start this morning temperatures will soar into the upper 80s and low 90s. Our forecast high temperature of 91 degrees would tie the hottest day of the year. The combination of high pressure, light winds, brilliant sun will worsen pollution problems. As as result today has been declared an Ozone Action Day in southeast Michigan. Storms help break the heat Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
