On Monday, April 4,  fans of Buddy’s Pizza are invited to partake in the 40th annual Slice for Life event and enjoy an all-you-can-eat pizza dinner.  Money raised will benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen's community outreach services.

Since the first Slice for Life event in 1976, Buddy’s Pizza has raised nearly $3 million to support the non-profit's programs, including: preparing and serving 2,000 meals a day; distributing household items; and operating a shower program, food pantry and children’s tutoring and art therapy program.  This year Buddy’s aims to raise $100,000 during the Slice for Life event.

Interested in helping the Slice for Life cause? From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on April 4, patrons who purchase a ticket can visit any Buddy’s Pizza full-service location to enjoy an all-you-can-eat two-topping pizza and salad meal. A carry-out option is also available for purchase at all 11 Buddy’s Pizza locations and includes either a 4-square two-topping pizza or a medium sized antipasto, Greek or house salad.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children. Advance tickets can be purchased online at http://www.cskdetroit.org/ or by calling 313.579.2100 ext. 170.  Tickets will also be available at the door.
