If you're a veteran looking for a job, you are in luck. The 2016 Hiring Our Heroes job fair is March 5 in Detroit.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is hosting it.

The Hiring Fair is for all veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
About 70 employers will be there including General Motors and Ford.
There will also be some services organizations there to help out including Goodwill Industries and Vets Returning Home.
The 8:30 a.m. Employment Workshop is available for job seekers looking for ways to update their resume, learn how translate their military skills to civilian terms, and polish their “elevator pitch” for employers.
The free job fair kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 1:30 p.m.
Pre-registration online is encouraged.
