DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a domestic incident that caused a child to be grazed by a bullet and the child's mother to be sent to the hospital.
Tuesday afternoon, a brother and sister got into an argument and the brother produced a gun and fired it, police say.
The incident happened in the area of Pembroke Avenue and Rutherford Street in Detroit.
The 1-year-old girl was grazed but is OK. The child's 21-year-old mother is in the hospital and her condition is currently unknown.
