DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 15-year-old boy was killed while riding his moped on Detroit's east side.
Police say a 24-year-old man was driving a 2003 Chevy Impala in the 18000 block of Helen Street. The man was driving erratically, police say, when he lost control and hit the victim on a moped.
The victim died from his injuries. Police say the 24-year-old suspect is in custody.
