A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition at University of Mott Children's Hospital after he was run over by a lawnmower on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the child was playing in the front yard on Pheasant Lake Rd. near 10 Mile in Green Oak Township around 2 p.m.
The riding mower was being driven by the boy's grandparent at the time, according to MLive. His legs were run over by the mower and suffered serious injuries.
Right now, Green Oak Township police are investigating.
A spokesperson for Huron Valley Ambulance told MLive the child came from a blindside as the mower made a turn and the grandparent didn't see him.
