A 64-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint while waiting at a bus stop in the area of Grand River and Livernois on Friday, Oct. 12 at 2:40 p.m.

According to a release, a late model, four-door gray Nissan Sentra pulled up to the bus stop. The suspect, a black man between the age of 40 and 50, asked the woman if she needed a ride. After riding around for hours, police say the suspect took money from the victim's purse and threw it out of the car window.

The suspected dropped the victim off in the area of Grand River and Oakman.
