Denver-based company Legendary Baking is recalling certain almond pies due to a labeling issue regarding allergens, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The recall affects its 34-ounce packages of Private Selection Salted Caramel Chocolate Almond Pie.
The almonds and eggs were reportedly listed under "may contains" instead of "contains."
The pies were sold in Kroger and other retail stores in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.
Consumers who purchased the pies can return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
