An Army veteran who had been missing for more than a week has been found dead.
Investigators say it appears 54-year-old David Folsom died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Folsom walked away from his Waterford Township home more than a week ago. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirm that two people walking in the woods in Waterford, near Cooley Lake Road and Cooley Village Lane, discovered his Folsom's body and contacted authorities.
Folsom was a Command Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard with two deployments.
Earlier this week, volunteers with the Michigan Search and Rescue Team came from around the state to help look for him.
Folsom's family says he suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
