February is American Heart Month -- and women are increasingly at risk for heart disease.

Heart disease claims the lives of more than 500,000 women each year, but many of those deaths can be prevented.

Dr. Pam Marcovitz, cardiologist and director of the Ministrelli Women's Heart Center at Beaumont Health joined 7 Action News to talk about risk factors, warning signs and prevention.
