Giving Tuesday hopes to raise money for many different organizations across the country, but one Detroit group is hoping that a new campaign will help make it easier to support their group past Giving Tuesday.
Living Arts Detroit, a nonprofit in the city that brings high-quality education to kids in Detroit, launched a sustainer campaign to make it easier to support the organization's work.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Living Arts will share stories of people impacted by its work on its Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Those people include a teen growing confidence through dance, a principal who sees how education impacts Detroit kids and a mother watching her kids grow through the Living Arts program.
They are hoping to raise $30,000 to provide 100 Detroit kids with education programs.
