(WXYZ) — There are just 11 days until the election and Michigan could be the deciding factor on who becomes president.

After the debate on Tuesday night, the Biden campaign hit the ground in Michigan with Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist and Rep. Debbie Dingell for a bus tour.

"It feels so good to be here spaced out, everyone listening. It feels like an election," Dingell said.

Michigan voters are vital, and during the debate, President Donald Trump lashed out at Gov. Gretchen Whitmer once again, saying the state is "like a prison."

Kim Janeski lost her niece during the COVID-19 pandemic and said it weighs heavy on her voting decision. She's currently undecided.

"27 years old, died of COVID," she said. "We were fortunate that someone could be with her while she passed."

On Facebook, our followers said the attack didn't turn them off, but it's not Trump's empathy that will win him votes.

Vice President Mike Pence was in Waterford Township yesterday, and he'll be in Toledo today, as Ohio is another battleground state. He's hoping to secure every Republican vote he can.
