Two teenagers are recovering today after the car the were riding in was hit by stray bullets.

Friday evening, Ariana Stallworth was taking her 14-year-old daughter’s friend home.  The teen, her friend and her 10-year-old sister were riding in the backseat when the back window shattered from flying bullets.  The two teen girls were hit.

“My daughter had one in her arm. Her friend had several fragments in her wrist and her hand.  She is going to have a long recovery.” Stallworth told Action News.

The ordeal unfolded as Stallworth was driving on Seven Mile near Goulburn.  Someone with an assault rifle started shooting, firing off more than a dozen rounds.

“They were aiming to kill.” said Stallworth.  “They didn’t care who they killed in the meantime.”

A 22-year-old man walking down the street was also shot.  All three victims are expected to recover.

So far, no arrest have been made.
