Redford Township police are warning of a stranger who approached a child in the school parking lot Tuesday.
Police said an 8-year-old was walking though the south parking lot of Beech Elementary when a man driving a light blue car pulled up to him.
The child reported that the man said, “get in the car” and then drove away.
No further information about the suspect or vehicle was provided.
Police said the child was able to walk away and call for help.
